Interested in attending Summer and Fall clinics held by Vienna Elite? Please be advised that Vienna Elite will be holding summer skills clinics. However, we are still waiting for our gym allocations from Fairfax County. | SUMMER FITNESS CONDITIONING |
OPEN TO NON CLUB MEMBERS: Interested in training during the summer with Vienna Elite Volleyball Club? Our club has arranged special discounted volleyball specific fitness and conditioning sessions through Explosive Performance Training Group at Tyson's Sport and Health Club. These training sessions are open to all volleyball athletes. The program will include volleyball specific testing of athletes before and after the summer fitness sessions.
Location: Tyson’s Sport and Health Club, 8250 Greensboro Drive, McLean, VA.
Cost: $225 for twelve (12) 1½ hour conditioning sessions.
Dates and Time: Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. Sessions will begin on Monday, June 24 and will end on Thursday, August 1. (week of July 4th will be modified to avoid a session on the 4th)
Special Offer: Includes free attendance at Tyson's Sport and Health weekly Saturday 9am fitness classes.
Make-up Sessions: Will be allowed through the normal fitness classes offered at Tyson's Sport and Health.

Tenacity Wins Gold at Pink
U15 Tenacity capped off a successful season by going 12-0 to win the Dig Pink 15/16 tournament (5/18/13), defeating several 16's teams on the way. To top it off the team raised the most money for the Side Out Foundation of all teams entered, earning the girls a free lunch with Blair Brown and Alyssa D'Errico, members of several Penn State national championship volleyball teams. Way to go Tenacity coaches, players and family!
U14 Vibe Wins at MVSA 15's
U14 Vibe capped a highly successful season by taking gold in the MVSA 15's tournament (5/18/13). Congratulations players, parents and coaches.
Tenacity Goes Undefeated
U15 Tenacity won the MD Juniors 15s Mixed tournament (5/11/13) going 10-0, not losing a single set. Way to go team!
The previous weekend, Tenacity finished 3rd of 26 teams in the 16s Bracket of the Beachfest I tournament in Ocean City MD (5/4-5/5/13). Although play was indoors, they celebrated their success on the beach below.
Rumble Success
All six Vienna Elite teams had a successful run at the Revolutionary Rumble tournament in Williamsburg (4/27-4/28/13). Five of the club's teams competed in gold bracket playoffs with U13-1 Matrix finishing 3rd of 22, U14 Vibe finishing 3rd of 42, U15 Tenacity also finishing 3rd of 42, U16 Voltage finishing 5th of 42 and U17 Vortex finishing 3rd of 23. U13-2 Venom played in the silver bracket finishing 9th overall. Congratulations to all players, parents and coaches!
U14 VIBE REGIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
Congratulations to Vienna Elite U14 Vibe who finished Third in the OPEN Regionals, just missing Nationals. On its way to the semi finals, the team showed great determination climbing out of 9 to 20 deficit in the first set of the quarter finals to beat MVSA Airbenders 27-25 and 25-17!! Great work players, coaches and parents! You make Vienna Elite very proud!
Matrix Takes Gold
Congratulations to U13-1 Team MATRIX for taking first place at the MVSA 13's Invitational (4/14/13). The team did not lose a set on the way to gold!
Voltage Takes Second
Congratulations to U16 Voltage for finishing second at the highly competitive MD Jrs Tournament the weekend before regionals (4/13/13).
NEQ Success
Congratulations to all the Vienna Elite Teams that participated in the highly competitive Northeast Qualifier (NEQ) tournaments during the Easter weekend. U13-1 Matrix finished 9th of 24 teams in the 13's American division, U14 Vibe finished 5th of 48 teams in the 14's American division, U15 Tenacity finished 9th of 71 teams in the 15's American division, U16 Voltage finished 25th out of 34 teams in the 16's Open division, and U17 Vortex won the flight 3B playoff bracket. Great work players, coaches and parents!
U12 Wins Gold
Congratulations to U12 Venom for winning the NVVA 12's Spring Fling tournament (3/17/13). The tournament had 16 teams. Vienna Elite U12 Venom upset the Capitol Hill Classic winners in the semi finals on its way to victory in a three set finals match! Congratulations players and coaches.
U14 Wins Silver
Congratulations to U14 Vibe who won Silver at VA Elite 14 Open Invitational (3/17/13).
U16 Wins Gold, U15 Silver
Congratulations again to U16 Voltage for winning its fourth tournament of the season taking first place at the MD Juniors 15/16s Mixed tournament (3/16/13). At the same tournament U15 Tenacity started slow but finished strong winning the Silver bracket. A head-to-head match between the two teams will have to wait for another day.
Venom Takes Second
U13-2 Venom continues to improve by taking second place in the Gold Bracket of the MVSA 13's Invitational tournament (3/10/13). Congratulations to players, parents and coaches.
Voltage Makes It A Triple
Congratulations to U16 Voltage for winning its third gold medal of the season taking first place at the NVVA 16 Warming Trend tournament (3/3/13).
Tenacity Springs More Gold
U15 Tenacity wins more hardware by taking first place at the NVVA 15/16 Spring Forward tournament (3/3/13) defeating several 16s teams along the way.
Matrix Takes Second
U13-1 was back on the podium earning silver medals at the VA Elite 13s Invitational tournament (3/3/13). Way to go Matrix!
Capitol Success
Vienna Elite teams had notable success at the Capitol Hill Classic tournament. U14 Vibe finished 5th out of 40 teams in the OPEN Division (Gold Bracket) losing only to the eventual winner and U13-1 Matrix was 9th out of 56 teams in the 13s division (Gold Bracket).
A special congratulations goes out to U13-2 Venom for winning the 13's Bronze bracket and finishing 22nd out of 56 teams.(pictured below)
Vibe Takes Gold
Congratulations again to U14 Vibe for taking first place at the NOVA 13/14 Ice Breaker (2/3/13). The team did not lose a set on the way to victory!
Matrix Takes 2nd at ICE Invitational
U13-1 Matrix took 2nd in the Gold bracket at NVVA 13's ICE Invitational Open (2/2/13). The team had an outstanding run of victories in back-to-back matches all the way to the finals. Congratulations to players, parents and coaches for a job well done!!
Tenacity Strikes Gold
Congratulations to U15 Tenacity for taking first place at the NVVA Volley Like a Rockstar OPEN tournament (1/26/13). Yet another Vienna Elite team steps on the podium in this young and highly productive season.
Voltage Takes Another Gold
U16 Voltage powered through another tournament taking first place at the Velocity Invitational 15/16's OPEN (1/27/13). That's two victories in two CHRVA Open tournaments. Way to go Voltage!
Matrix Perfect at MLK Lancaster
U13-1 Matrix took first place at ECV's MLK Kickoff Classic in Lancaster PA. The team had an amazing run going undefeated (10-0) dropping just 1 set during the entire weekend. Congratulations to players, parents and coaches.
Vibe Takes Second at MLK Lancaster
U14 Vibe continued its winning ways by taking second place in the 14s OPEN division of ECV's MLK Kickoff Classic in Lancaster PA. The team went 7-2 defeating several strong travel teams and losing only to the Philly powerhouse Synergy. Congratulations players, parents and coaches.
U12 Wins Silver Medal
Congratulations to U12 Venom for taking second place at the NVVA 12s tournament winning a silver medal. With the exception of one player, this was the first CHRVA tournament ever for team members. Way to go!
Vibe Dominates Power League
Congratulations to U14 for winning all its matches at the first Delmarva Challenge Power League tournament (1/12/13). Vibe beat NVVA ICE 14-1, ICE 14-2, ICE 13-1, ICE 13-2, Delmarva Juniors 14 and MD Juniors Elite 14 without losing a single set. Another extremely impressive start for a Vienna Elite team.
