U13 Vortex Continues to Role
Congratulations to the U13 Vortex for finishing in 2nd place at NVVA 13's May Day and then returning a weekend later to take silver at the MD Juniors 14's. The second tournament was even more impressive given that Vortex defeated 14s teams on the way to the tournament finals. Way to go Vortex!
U15 Vipers Finish Strong
At the Revolutionary Rumble in Williamsburg, the U15 Vipers had an exceptionally strong tournament winning their pool on the first day and competing in the Gold Bracket. Congratulations to players, coaches and parents.
Vienna Elite Honors at CHRVA Regionals
All 5 Vienna Elite teams had success at CHRVA regionals. Playing in the Silver division, U14 Adrenaline cleared the pool on the way to a third place finish. U15 Vipers also cleared the pool and finished third in the Bronze division. Both the U12 Blu Devils and U16 Venon played in Silver divisions and finished a respectable third in pool play. Congratualtaions teams!
And then there was the amazing U13 Vortex ... playing in the 13's OPEN division they cleared the pool, won their quarter final match against cross-town rival VA Elite 13 Black and were just 3 points away from a berth to the USAV Nationals losing a tough 3 set semifinal match. The only 2 teams to beat Vortex were the eventual finalists and they both had an average 3-4 inch height advantage. It was still a memorable run that puntuated an incredible season. Way to go Vortex!!
U12 Blu Devils Win Gold!!
U12 Blu Devils have also joined the Vienna Elite gold rush by taking first place at the Velocity VBC Invitational 12's Tournament defeating several teams that they have lost to in the past. Congratulations to players, coaches and parents!
U13 Vortex Takes Second
The amazing U13 Vortex team continued its victorious ways by taking second place at the BAVA 13's Invitational tournament. The team is perfectly positioned for a strong showing at the 13's Regional OPEN tournament.
Vienna Elite Supports Local Youth Volleyball
A great big THANK YOU to all the Vienna Elite players and coaches who supported clinics for two local volleyball youth organizations: Vienna Youth (VYI) Volleyball and McLean Youth (MYA) Volleyball. Combined, the organizations have over 500 youth athletes learning to play and enjoy the great sport of volleyball.
U13 Vortex Wins More Medals
The amazing U13 Vortex team finished in second place at two back-to-back tournaments at the VVC: NVVA 13/14's In Like a Lamb and NVVA 13/14's Volley go Braugh. In both tournaments, the team defeated several 14s teams on the way to the finals. Congratulations!

U14 Adrenaline joined the Vienna Elite gold rush by taking first place at the NVVA 13/14's March Madness. Congratulations to players, coaches and parents!
Okay ... U13 is Just Amazing
Congratulations to the U13 Vortex for winning the VA Elite 13s tournament ... again. That's 3 golds and a silver bracket win in just 5 weeks. Simply amazing.
U13 Vortex Wins Gold ... Again
U13 Vortex wins the MD Jrs 13/14’s tournament. The team did not lose a set and beat several 14s teams in the process.
Vienna Elite Has A Capitol Weekend
Contratulations to all 5 club teams for their success at the Capitol Hill Classic over the President's Day weekend. U13 Votex won the tough Silver bracket finishing overall 7th out of 44 teams. U16 Venom also completed in a Silver bracket finishing in second place and 18th out of 104 teams. U14 Adrenaline went undefeated on Saturday cruising to 39th place out of 96 teams. After a tough first day, U15 Vipers came back to win their Monday bracket to finish 50th out of 76 teams. And finally, the U12 Blu Devils, in their first multi-day tournament, showed some true heart all weekend finishing 15th overall.

U12 Blu Devils finishes in 3rd place at the NVVA 12's MLK tournament. This was the first USAV juniors tournament for the girls (and the coaches), so congratulations on a job well done!

Thank you to the Arlington VBC for hosting scrimmages at Marymount University on Sunday January 8. All 5 Vienna Elite teams had an opportunity to demonstrate what they've been practicing since November and make final adjustments before the playing season officially begins.
